Shooters are short, strong drinks that are mixed or layered with a combination of spirits and liqueurs. Shots contain only ingredients that are alcoholic. Both shooters and shots are served in shot glasses and are supposed to be consumed with just one tip of the glass.
The Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz citrus vodka
- 3/4 oz hazelnut liqueur
- sugar coated lemon
Preparation:
- Fill a mixing glass with ice and add the liquors.
- Cover the glass with another and shake.
- Strain into a shot glass.
- Serve with a sugar coated lemon.
The Buttery Nipple
Ingredients:
- 1 oz buttershots liqueur
- 1/2 oz Irish cream liqueur
Preparation:
- Pour buttershots into a chilled shot glass.
- Float the Irish cream on top.
Limit the amount of shots and shooters you consume as too many in a short space of time can lead to a out of control party which can result in a huge mess and many sore heads in the morning.
